Kumaramangalam calls for cost-effective method of infrastructure financing
Industry and financial institutions need to evolve a different model for funding infrastructure projects in the country, said Union power minister, PR Kumaramangalam at a three-day seminar on infrastructure financing on Monday.

India has sought for additional flexibilities in the provisions of the WTO agreement on agriculture in order to enable developing countries to pursue legitimate non-trade concerns such as food security which involve self-sufficiency in food production to meet the domestic demand as well as access to food.
