Telco stems losses at Rs 33.53 cr in Q1
Tata Engineering & Locomotive Co (Telco), buoyed by increasing demand for its medium and heavy commercial vehicles, has managed to arrest the slide in its bottomline in the first quarter of the current fiscal. However, the company ended with a net loss of Rs 33.53 crore, against Rs 35.63 crore in the same period last year.

Kinetic Motor plans employee stock option
Kinetic Motor Company Limited, formerly Kinetic Honda Motor, has planned to introduce employees stock option to foster a sense of ownership and belonging among its personnel. The company is planning to create, offer and issue 7,50,000 equity shares of the face value of Rs 10 each for the purpose.

HDFC Bank Q1 net rises 25 per cent to Rs 25 cr
HDFC Bank has posted a net profit of Rs 25.32 crore for the first quarter of 1999-2000, up 25.5% from Rs 20.18 crore net profits recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year. HDFC Bank's results for the quarter ended March 31, 1999 were taken on record by its board of directors on July 16, 1999.
