ACC first-quarter net profit dips 17% to Rs 7 cr
Cement major ACC, hit hard by dwindling price realisation, has reported a 17.2% drop in net profit to Rs 7.02 crore during the first quarter ended June 30, 1999.

The board of directors of Zee Telefilms on Wednesday discussed the proposal to hive off Zee Education into a separate company to give a thrust to the education business.

BSES Q1 net up 11.4% to Rs 87.81 cr
BSES has posted a 11.4% rise in net profit to Rs 87.81 crore in the first quarter of the current financial, compared with Rs 78.66 crore in the corresponding period last year. Sale of electrical energy has increased marginally to Rs 470.08 crore from Rs 463.22 crore.
