Centre puts telecom package on ice till Tuesday
The Government on Friday gave an undertaking to the Delhi High Court that it will not implement the new telecom package till August 3 after the court sought details of the estimated earning under the revenue-sharing regime.

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation has reported a net profit of Rs 230.12 crore and recommended a 1:2 bonus issue while its joint venture company, Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals, bogged down by a skewed pricing mechanism and duty structure, has posted a loss of Rs 122.26 crore for the first quarter of the current financial.
