Mumbai, Aug 10: Kothari Pioneer Mutual Fund has announced a 20 per cent tax-free dividend in Prima Plus. Prima Plus is the third fund from the KPMF stable to have declared a tax-free dividend. While the Bluechip Fund had declared a dividend of 35 per cent in July, Income Builder Account declared a dividend of 12.75 per cent in June.Prima Plus, with an investor base of 100,000, has an asset size of Rs 104 crore. In the last one year the fund has delivered an impressive return of 86.32 per cent.
Prima Plus has in its portfolio Infosys, Punjab Tractors, Cadbury, Nestle, NIIT, Satyam, Dabur, Marico, Zee Telefilms, Cipla, German Remedies, E-Merck and Mastek.
KPMF has emerged as one of the largest managers of open-end equity funds in the country with assets of over Rs 500 crore. The AMC manages total assets of Rs 720 crore with an investor base of 3.1 lakh including growth, income and money market schemes.
