And it's not just another portal. Sunita Vohra, managing director, says the portal will give every Indian, living abroad, a feel of his/ her home, back in India. Also, it promises to take care of your worries. It offers a number of services from property to health care. "You don't have anything to worry about, now," says Vohra.

The portal, she says, is based on solid groundwork of two years. The portal is planning an official launch now, but it won't be in a very big manner.

The people behind it have their own reasons for it. "We don't want too many people coming in together suddenly. Each customer is very important to us and we want to ensure that he/she gets the best of service. So we want to expand slowly and gradually and ensure that our customers remain ours for a lifetime."

At present, the portal offers you services like arranging a baby sitter, a governess, a child specialist, a maid or even a nurse. For education, you could just ask for a primary teacher as well as career counsellors. And there are health services, too-ambulance, nurse, counsellor, psychiatrist, etc. The executive class can have services like secretarial help, CAs, lawyers, stockbrokers and drivers. The property section takes care of loan agents, mortgage agents, information services, lease, rentals, house keeping, maintenance, etc.

Besides, the portal has exclusive information on travel. So if you are planning a holiday with your family, in India, Indiataj will do all the planning and searching for the right holiday station. You could just choose a particular kind of holiday you are looking for. All the rest could be taken care of. "We arrange right from choosing the kind of place you are looking for to arranging a taxi and guide for you. So that you travel without any trouble," says Ashish Kumar Midha, the project manager.

The portal also has an exclusive astrology section, where you could put up any of your astrological queries and get expert answers. "The basic idea," says Vohra is to "bank on whatever India is famous for. And with it, give every Indian at-home feeling." Also available, are facilities like auction, on-line shopping, chatting, job opportunities, mail and other such facilities. So just gift your mom, a maid, or plan a fantastic holiday for your wife, all from the comfort of your study.
