Incipient entry barrier in rising M&As
The dimension of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in India is growing. M&A deals worth about Rs 36,000 crore were put through in 1999-2000, up from Rs 17,000 crore in the previous year; or a surge by 111% in one year.
