Cherian Varghese is Corporation Bank CMD

Mumbai, Nov 3: Corporation Bank will have a new chairman and managing director - K Cherian Varghese - who assumed charges from Thursday and will be at the helm for the next five years. Earlier, Mr Varghese was the executive director of Central Bank of India. The post of chairman and managing director of Corporation Bank was lying vacant for some time with its executive director NS Gujral, holding concurrent charge of the top post. Mr Varghese was a recipient of the national scholarship of the Government of India throughout his university education.
