Sonia turns down offers to join politics
Sonia Gandhi has spurned all offers to join active politics made by various Congress leaders. Contrary to media reports she has not been made PCC member from Gauriganj block of Sultanpur district under Amethi Parliamentary constituency, according to UPCC sources.

Kesri wary of move piloting Pawar to win
Interim Congress president Sitaram Kesri has sent out feelers to the Sharad Pawar camp, in a meeting with Congress Working Committee member K Karunakaran, who is currently fanning anti-Kesri views in the run-up to the party's presidential poll.

It is Sharad season in Cong.......
The two Sharads, Pawar and Yadav, have more than one thing in common. They have the same name and they are both taking on the established leadership of their respective parties as they contest for the presidentship of the Congress and the Janata Dal.
