Karnataka seeks French help for training units


BANGALORE, July 10: The Karnataka government has, in its recent interaction with the 13-member French trade delegation, under the aegis of the State chapter of the CII, sought assistance for setting up five training institutes in the field of steel, cement, oil refining, petrochemicals, textiles and automobile engineering. The Principal Secretary for Industries and Commerce, N Vishwanathan said that the State would also set up a training institution for IT. Karnataka with its rich mineral and raw material base also has trained and highly qualified manpower.
