BANGALORE, July 10: The proposed Bangalore chapter of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will be formally inaugurated on August 18. The institute will offer courses in fashion desigining, apparel merchandising and marketing. The institute is currently housed in the Karnataka Cooperative Marketing Federation building. The State goverment has granted it space in White Field. NIFT already has branches in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Calcutta.
