ITC chairman Y C Deveshwar, nominees of financial institutions (FIs) and its parent company BAT are among 20 present and former directors and top executives who have been charge-sheeted by the Enforcement Directorate for FERA violation of $ 114 million.

Steep rise in FII investments

The net investment by foreign institutional investors (FIIs) in the Indian stock markets have reached a record level during the month of June since April 1996. The total transactions by the FIIs in the Indian markets also crossed the $ 1 billion mark in the previous month.
