American intelligence reports have again indicated that Chinese medium range missiles can target installations and cities across most of India.

[Details] The perennial river issue of the South is running a predictable course once again. The Prime Minister, according to Karnataka Chief Minister J H Patel who met I K Gujral in New Delhi recently, is going to call a conference of the chief ministers of the basin states soon to resolve the conflict. The optimism voiced about the outcome of the conference by Patel is unlikely to be widely shared.

[Details] The case of Nirmala, the woman in Chandigarh who wants to rent her womb in order to support her family, draws attention to the speed with which Indian society and law are falling behind events. Logically, defamation is not a possibility in this case. Nirmala is simply hiring herself out for a biololical process.
