NAGPUR, July 24: Authorities have clamped curfew in five localities of Yavatmal town which observed a bandh against the desecration of the idol of Hanuman. The police opened fire today to disperse a violent mob protesting against the desecration at Yavatmal, 160 km from here. Sources said that the police fired two rounds, injuring three persons. The lathi charge made earlier failed to quell the violent mob.
