Sell-tell

Small screen roles that they never should have touched:

Seen Big B's tele-commercial? He says `Yeh ad nahin chalega'. How right!

Like Rishi Kapoor modelled for Ganga soap. Obviously Rishi was the wrong choice. He was too sophisticated for the masses.

They replaced Rishi with Govinda who is a favourite with the front-benchers. But the worst ad that Govinda could have done was some pan masala ad with Varsha Usgaonkar.

Akshay Kumar got paid in crores when he modelled for jeans and it was a cool ad. But the cigarette ad he did was not. He doesn't even smoke.

Similarly, Sunny Deol of the tanned fit look did a whisky ad. Ironically, the jat does not drink. He should have let papa Dharam, who loves his booze, do the campaign.

Then there's Raveena who agreed to the Yankee Doodle ad but refused to take a lick as she was dieting. Once she was sure it was fat-free she agreed. Then she took three packs home.
