BJP gains most from Cong, RJP imbroglio in Gujarat
The state admistration in Gujarat is in general state of drift following the differences between the Congress and the state chief minister Shankarsinh Vaghela's RJP. While all necessary arrangements had reportedly been made to facilitate the smooth transfer of power the Governor, the entire bureaucratic machinery was in a state of utter confusion.

RJD working president Ranjan Prasad Yadav stated that his party would go for an alliance with the Congress at the national level in the next general elections. He, however, ruled out any merger.
