BJP's "silent" comment on ties with Sena

PRESS TRUST OF INDIA

SOLAPUR, NOV 9: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Atal Behari Vajpayee today preferred to maintain a `maun vrat' and let his party General Secretary Pramod Mahajan do all the talking when asked to comment whether he was ``entirely satisfied'' with the treatment given to the BJP by Shiv Sena, its alliance partner in Maharashtra.

``Mahajan will answer your question,'' he told a reporter at a press conference here when asked to comment on the BJP's relations with Shiv Sena. When the question was directed to Mahajan, who was seating beside Vajpayee, he also preferred to follow his leader's policy and did not comment.

After a while, Vajpayee said ``Mahajan's silence is eloquent enough.''
