[Details] Displaying a great deal of spunk, the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR) has virtually told the government to stop playing political games with it. It has told the government it will not carry out detailed exercises on the restructuring of sick PSUs if it continues to dilly-dally over its recommendations.

CRB liquidator names 133 beneficiaries of loans

[Details] The official liquidator attached to the Delhi high court has released the list of 133 companies to which CRB Capital Markets had allegedly lent a total of Rs 501.43 crore. The list was released on November 13. All the companies in the list are group or associate companies of CRB.

PAL-Peugeot talks draw to a close

[Details] After months of bitter wrangling, Premier Automobiles and Automobiles Peugeot will finally conclude their negotiations for an out-of-court settlement next week. Accordingly an announcement is to be made before the next scheduled hearing at the Mumbai High Court on November 21.
