The Big B came, saw and conquered....or so it seemed until the National Defence Academy (NDA), Pune, put its foot down against what it considered to be a grossly misrepresented portrayal of the academy in Major Saheb, an Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited film. The movie, in which the Big B plays an Army man, should have been released long ago. But it seems to be entangled in a mire of objections raised by the Army authorities, with the result that the much-awaited film is gathering dust in the cans.
