Coimbatore communal strife kills 12
A communal flare-up in Coimbatore yesterday claimed 12 lives, nine in violence and three in police firing while Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) legislator C T Dhandapani, his son and four other party functionaries were injured in an attack by an irate mob.
