The isolated salvo fired by Mulayam Singh Yadav in far-away Purnea in Bihar, reverberated in Andhra Pradesh Bhavan, rattling the United Front constituents which met on Monday and tried to decode the SP leader's call for the formation of a new Front to fight secular forces. Though SP general secretary Amar Singh issued a retraction, Mulayam's diatribe against the UF appears to be the first step towards distancing himself from the Front.
