Cong to launch poll drive with massive morcha at Nagpur

[Details] As the winter session of the legislature begins in Nagpur from December 15, the Congress now hopes to turn its planned morcha into an election campaign launch. The morcha was earlier planned as a pressure tactic against the Shiv Sena-Bharatiya Janata Party government in Maharashtra. But now that a mid-term poll seems inevitable, Congress bosses in the state have decided to use the gathering for more immediate gains.

[Details] Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray on Monday said his party would oppose tooth and nail any attempt to install Sonia Gandhi as Prime Minister. He was addressing a public rally at the Wadia Park grounds in Ahmednagar.
