[Details] History of a dubious kind was created at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Indore yesterday morning. For the first time in the annals of overs-limit cricket international, a match was abandoned owing to the unplayable state of a drying pitch. The match -- second of the One-day series between India and Sri Lanka -- was called off only after 19 minutes of play.
