Holy cow! Cloning provides fodder for pharmaceuticals
The field of cloning may have made remarkable progress since the first clone, Dolly the sheep, was made a year ago. But the latest innovation in the field takes the cake. Since music is the food of campaigns, the Congress has decided to play on. The Congress has now got itself a brand new signature tune -- "Sonia Gandhi balle balle". The cassettes will be sent across the country, played in street corners, villages and campaign meetings.

Thousands of farmers had descended on London to demand extra Government support for their industry, which has been labouring under the worldwide ban on British beef imposed by the European Union (EU).
China goes liberal, sets up sex shops
Evidence of the liberalisation process gaining strength in China comes from amost unlikely avenue. China is now seeing a glut of sex-shops coming up in various suburban areas, an unattractive side-effect of liberalisation.
