AMOD Desai scored 128 and helped VS Patil XI to a two-wicket victory over Achrekar in the Omtex-sponsored Dadar Parsee Zorastrian cricket League match played at Matunga today.

The experienced Tata Electric scored a hard-fought 1-0 win over Father Agnel Gymmkhana in the first division league match conducted by the Bombay Hockey Association at the Mahindra Stadium today.
CP Apanna scored the goal in the 45th minute for Tatas who have played five matches and have won two and drawn one for seven points. Fr. Agnel have three points from one win out of three matches.

Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank have won the team title with 10 points in the inter-Cooperative Bank carrom tournament which was held at the Rashtriya Mill Mazdoor Sangh, Parel. Saraswat Co-op Bank were runners-up with nine points.
In the Inter-Bank tournament, Bank of India A won the title with 20 points from seven matches. Punjab National Bank finished second with 17 points from seven matches.
