KARACHI, February 6: Jatin Paranjpe smashed a brilliant 115 while Wasim Jaffer and Gagan Khoda missed out on centuries as India `A' hit a big 382 for five in their first match of the Pakistan tour against the Karachi City Cricket Associationÿwhich was abandoned after two days' play here.As the authorities called off the third day's play yesterday to ``express solidarity with the people of Kashmir,'' and rescheduling it for today, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) instructed the team management not to proceed with the rest of theÿmatch.
Resuming at their Tuesday evening's score of seven for no loss, the India `A' team, led by skipper Gagan Khoda, went on a run-scoring spree on Wednesday.
Left-hander Paranjpe cashed in on a brilliant opening wicket partnership of 180 runs between Jaffer (90) and Khoda (95) to smash 18 foursÿand a six off Shahid Afridi in his 131-ball knock.
