BANGALORE, February 7: Set to score 396 for a win, Punjab were 133 for the loss of nine wickets in the Group A Ranji Trophy Super League match against Karnataka at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday.Karnataka skipper Anil Kumble opted for an extension of play by half an hour as there was a possibility of completing the match today itself.
Punjab were 106 for six at the end of the day's play and Karnataka claimed three wickets during the extension of play. But when Kumble struck with the first ball of the last over, play was called off for the day.
