They are also said to have discovered new means for determining the cooking and starch properties of rice grains.
Sonia does not fascinate Punjab
Sonia Gandhi's decision to campaign for the Congress during the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls may have set many hearts aflutter within the Congress rank and file. But Congress workers in Punjab are not enthused. Even in districts where the Congress has a strong presence, the general response to Sonia's presence is very dismal. Even the locals are predicting that Sonia's entry will not garner any votes for the Congress in Punjab.
