  Pepsi seeks injunction against BCCI
Pepsi Foods Limited on Monday reported to the Bombay High Court that it had legal rights to sponsor the forthcoming triangular cricket series between India, Australia and Zimbabwe. It sought an injunction to prevent the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) from granting the sponsorship to any other party.

PM leads tributes to braveheart Rambo
The Prime Minister, Inder Kumar Gujral led a host of tributes paid to Raman Lamba, who death under tragic circumstances in Dhaka has left a pall of gloom amongst the cricket fraternity. Gujral said, "Lamba was a prolific scorer who had many memorable knocks to his credit and will be remembered by his numerous friends and admirers."
