Court moves against "horror shows" on TV
A New Delhi city court has directed Delhi police commissioner to file an action taken report (ATR) by May 2 on the alleged showing of "horror serials" by a popular private TV network saying they were "detrimental to children's mental health".
  The ice-candy man
In the heat of summer, ad campaigns are filled with images of products that look like they would melt in a moment. Held at the American ambassador Richard Celeste's home, Nina Manuel, Sheetal Malhar, Helen Brodie and Namrata Barua represented the country's couture capital.

The Pakistani couple have had to go underground as they face execution for their inter-ethnic marriage. Ahsan, from an Urdu-speaking community of Mohajir settlers, and Riffat an 18-year-old Pashtun, defied tribal tradition when they put aside ethnic differences and eloped.
My Den/Sumeet Chopra
A fashion photographer's den, you would think would be rather jazzy -- huge pictures hung haphazardly on the walls and spotlights everywhere. Carefully-controlled chaos. But Sumeet Chopra's den -- his office -- betrays this notion with it's sheer simplicity. He chooses his office over his home because he spends most of his waking hours here.
