Man killed in road mishap

AHMEDABD, April 21: Ramanbhai Jivabhai Patel (residence not known) was knocked down fatally by a jeep (GJ-1 MM-6608) from behind when he was going on his bicycle towards Naroda village on Monday morning. One Atulkumar Dashrathlal Vyas has lodged a complaint against the owner of the jeep with the Naroda police.Vehicles stolen: Anil Shankarlal Jain, a resident of Mahavir Kutir Society in Shahibaug opposite Bombay Garage had his Kinetic Honda (GJ-1 AB-4085) worth Rs 15,000 stolen from near Law Garden on Monday evening. In another incident, Sandip Murlidhar Pore's Hero Honda bike ((GJ-1 KK-1170) was stolen on April 16 from his residence at Netajinagar in Maghaninagar area. The vehicle was estimated to be worth around Rs 25,000.
