Ending a week-long uncertainty, Himachal Pradesh Minister for Public Works and Power Sukh Ram resigned on Thursday saying his party, the Himachal Vikas Congress, would continue to support the BJP government. Former friends face off in AP
With friends-turned-foes heading the main rival political parties in Andhra Pradesh, it will be a battle for the hustings right from the word `go'. The appointment of YS Rajasekhar Reddy, Cuddapah MP, as president of the Pradesh Congress Committee seems to have come as a shot in the arm for the party, particularly among the younger elements.
