Is this obscene
I was watching Vir Sanghvi's talk show on Star TV, on Husain being attacked. Sanghvi had called BJP members and Anjolie Ela Menon (painter). They were speaking such double-faced language. Whatever you say, you are wrong. One BJP member displayed Husain's lithograph which Anjolie had explained was not obscene -- you could not even see the features on the body, it was almost flat.
Dancing their way to global integration, on-line
In an unusual attempt at global integration, dancers from different parts of the world will perform simultaneously on June 7. The venue is one never used before for such an endeavour: the Internet. At 12 noon (GMT) on Sunday, viewers can log on to the Net and watch dancers performing in different parts of the United States, Anchorage in Alaska, South Africa, Slovenia, Argentina, Chile, Kenya and India.
