Injuries heighten before France'98
PARIS, JUNE 9: BRAZIL: Central defender Aldair missed training yesterday with a muscle problem and is doubtful as is his possible replacement Andre Cruz. If neither can play, Goncalves may be called upon to partner the erratic and red-card prone Junior Baiano in the heart of the defence for the opening match.ITALY: Alessandro Del Piero has been ruled out of Italy's World Cup opener against Chile this week. The Juventus star has still not recovered from a groin injury he picked up in last month's European Cup final defeat to Real Madrid. Del Peiro is likely to be replaced by on-form Roberto Baggio. ARGENTINA: Goalkeeper German Burgos, who has not conceded a goal in his last five matches, has had X-rays taken after complaining of pains on the right side of his rib cage.
