Joy, agony, anger- it's Result time
EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
CHANDIGARH, June 9: Anxiety writ large on the faces of students who came to inquire their results at the Regional office of the Central Board of Secondary Office, Sector 32 or their respective schools as the plus two CBSE results were declared here today. Although the system was more organised, with the board having despatched the results to the respective schools, still large numbers of parents and students flocked the CBSE office where six counters had been set up. Two persons were also put on telephone duty. For the students, it was a day of mixed feeling of joy, sorrow, relief and resentment. While some of them were elated and were busy conveying their results to their nears and dears on the mobiles, there were others who were scared to go home or were talking in terms of getting their answer sheets re-evaluated as they expected more. Ajay Lamba, who had a compartment in Maths said, "I am dead and can't go home." Another group which had not fared well had tears rolling down their cheeks.
