Bhujbal claims support of 40 Independents
Amidst reports that Suresh Kalmadi had managed to woo at least 14 independent MLAs with a junket to Nepal, leaders of various political parties today intensified the battle for the votes of the 45 unattached members of the Maharashtra Assembly. Most of these members are Congress rebels and have so far supported the Shiv Sena-Bharatiya Janata Party alliance.
