Bangladesh champions Mukti Joddha defeated Bengal Mumbai Football Club 2-0 in the semi-final of the McDowell Cup football tournament at the Salt Lake Stadium yesterday. The contest was over in the first 15 minutes itself, courtesy BMFC goalkeeper Arvind Kumar, who did duty for JCT last year, after conceding a disastrous second goal.
