S Korea coach Cha sacked

PARIS, June 21: CHA BUM-KUN may have been the finest player ever produced in South Korea, and possibly in the whole of Asia, but reputation rarely protects a soccer coach from the traditional price of failure.Cha, whose Korean side have lost their first two matches a the World Cup finals, including yesterday's humiliating 5-0 drubbing by the Dutch, will be formally sacked tomorrow, according to state radio in Seoul. With the Koreans set to co-host the next World Cup finals with Japan in 2002, there was considerable pressure on Cha from the start to do well in France.
