VADODARA, June 21: If the popular television soap Tu-Tu Main-Main, attempts to show bitter dialogue exchanges between a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law over daily chores, the Lioness Club of Vishwamitri also endeavoured to do something on similar lines. The difference, however, was that unlike the former, the latter on given situations attempted to underline the compatibility the two shared. As many as 27 pairs of daughter-in laws and mother-in-laws from various parts of the city took part in the contest, organised on Sunday at the Mahatma Gandhinagar Gruh.
Each pair was made to sit with their backs to each other and asked questions, based on real-life situations. A number of alternatives were given for the said question and if both choose the same number they were adjudged compatible by the panel of judges.
Out of the total participants, six pairs made it the final round based on an elimination round. Besides, participants were also made to enact situations on a given topic.
Considering situations were based on everyday occurrences, participants had no difficulty enacting them or answering related questions.
Finally, the pair that shared the most compatibility was adjudged the best pair by judges.
