Stolen scrap recovered

VADODARA, June 21: Scrap material, including iron and aluminum, worth Rs 38,624 was recovered from one Nazirbhai Pathan, a resident of GIDC Makarpura by the Detective Crime Branch on Saturday.The material was stolen from Kailash Moulding Works in GIDC Makarpura.Following complaints from many, including one Ranjaybhai Jagdish Patel, the DCB had been maintaining a close watch on suspected persons. The police after investigations arrested Shafique alias Shabbir Rafique Pathan, Salim Pathan and Chanderbhai Bhikhabhai Kutil. The three during interrogations admitted to having stolen the material, but said they had sold it to one Nazirbhai Pathan. They said the material was worth Rs 26,896.
