Trader murdered

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
Mumbai, June 26: A 45-year-old trader was gagged to death by unidentified persons at Bhiwandi late Thursday. The murder took place after a youth was stabbed in the powerloom town on Tuesday.

Yusuf Gulam Rasool Rangerej, owner of a chilli shop, was returned home with the day's collection when he was accosted by the unknown persons. He was carrying over Rs 1.5 lakh when he was waylaid. The robbers gagged Rasool to death and dumped his body at a godown at Kharbaon before escaping with the cash. According to the police a complaint of missing person was lodged by the victim's son Yusuf after which a search was carried out.
