New schemes from Kidwai Memorial Institute
BANGALORE, June 26: Several new projects, including a `cancer insurance scheme', have been started by the Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology here. Brachytherapy is among the schemes being introduced, and, by it, patients can benefit from iridium brachytherapy, which is of proven efficacy in relation to cure, organ conservation and palliation.
