Cable cars at Tirumala planned

 
BANGALORE, July 8: Pilgrims wishing to pay homage to Lord Venkateshwara at the famous hill top Tirumala shrine will soon be able to avail of a cable car to reach Tirumala hills from Tirupathi town. The Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam Trust has planned a series of tourism projects, including a holiday resort and a museum. Four Kaylyanamantapams or marriage halls will also be constructed at various places at a total cost of Rs 1.80 crore.
