Baldoot on DD from Aug 16

MUMBAI, July 11: "Baldoot", a 30-minute weekly tele-journal reflecting views of children on various social, cultural and topical issues, would be telecast on the national channel of Doordarshan every Sunday at 1230 hrs from August 16.Speaking after the preview of the first two episodes of the tele-journal last night, the chairperson of the National Centre of films for children and young people (NCYP), Sai Paranjpe said ``it will provide a platform to young people to debate on serious issues concerning them and the country''.
