Govt warns postal staff of action NEW DELHI: Government today threatened to take disciplinary action if postal employees did not call off their indefinite strike which crippled postal services across the country for the fourth day even as agitators resolved to continue their stir till their demands were met. Terming the strike `politically-motivated', Communications Minister Sushma Swaraj told newsmen the government would not consider any demands till the stir was called off. Meanwhile, the postal staff plans to march to Parliament.UP dharna LUCKNOW: One of the employees staging a sit-in here died of starvation while seven were taken ill and hospitalised as the indefinite sit-in by hundreds of workers of the UP Cement Corporation outside the Assembly entered fifth day today with no signs of settlement. Pak shelling JAMMU: In the first of its kind of heavy firing in the Jammu region, Pakistani troops shelled 16 Indian positions and civilian areas along the internationalborder and the Line of Control `intermittently' since yesterday.
