PUNE, July 14: Maharashtra Social Welfare Minister Babanrao Gholap on Saturday said an inquiry will be initiated into the acquisition of funds by bogus organisations from the Social Welfare Department during last three years in the State.
While inaugurating a building of government multi-purpose handicapped centre run by the Social Welfare Department in Yerwada, he said the State will take all efforts to impose heavy punishment and penalty on organisations indulging in such fraudulent practices.
