MUMBAI, July 16: A training programme on environment management for Small Scale Industrial entrepreneurs, one of the first of its kind, will be organised in Mumbai by the National Environmental Engineering Research Institute next month.
The programme will emphasise skill and technology upgradation on environment management and help SSI units identify factors that create pollution in units and find solutions for them. The programme will help owners and personnel of SSIs meet regulatory standards on the discharge and monitoring of pollution caused by unit operations.
