NEW DELHI, July 16: A man driving down the road in front of the PVR Anupam theatre in Saket last night was robbed after he stopped to stare at an `interesting' poster put up near the theatre.
NEW DELHI, July 16: A man driving down the road in front of the PVR Anupam theatre in Saket last night was robbed after he stopped to stare at an `interesting' poster put up near the theatre.
Ravilam Bhatla had left his A-87 Malviya Nagar house after dinner for a drive around Saket. As he sat in his car staring at the poster, a youth thrust a knife at him. Four other persons entered the car by the rear door.
They ordered him to drive to Mehrauli. On reaching the Andheria crossing, they threw him out of the car and fled in his Maruti with his wrist watch and wallet containing Rs 150. A case has been registered at the Malviya Nagar police station.
In another case, a house was robbed today in the Seelampur area of north-east Delhi. Four persons entered the C-9/46 Jaffrabad house of Mohammed Mazhar who had returned from Dubai around 1 p.m. today.
