CHANDIGARH, July 17: Trials to select outstanding sportspersons in five disciplines for Sports Wing seats of the SD College, Sector 32 were conducted today at different venues.
CHANDIGARH, July 17: Trials to select outstanding sportspersons in five disciplines for Sports Wing seats of the SD College, Sector 32 were conducted today at different venues.
While the judo, best physique, kho-kho trials were held at the college ground, cricket trials were held at the DAV School, Sector 8, ground.
In wrestling, badminton, hockey and basketball trials will be held tomorrow. Yoga, cycling, athletics, squash and boxing trials are slated for July 20.The college is introducing hockey for the first time.
Cricket is another discipline in which some prominent names came up for the trials. Ravinder Nain, Nagesh Gupta, Sandeep Arora, Anurag Sharma were the ones who took the trials.
Meanwhile, trials in other colleges in the City are also being held simultaneously.
