MUMBAI, July 19: One man was shot in the foot, another hurt by a sword flung at him and a third with a bleeding head from a stone thrown at him -- all in protest against a football match.
A simple game of football at Jogeshwari turned into a free for all when a bakery owner protested against the noise caused by the players. Javed Ali Mohammed Hassan Ansari was angered over the noise created by some youngsters playing near his bakery in Makrani Pada, Jogeshwari (E).
The boys refused to the baker's request to stop their game. Angered Ansari pulled out a gun and fired hitting a young player. A crowd gathered and a fight broke out.``The situation is now under control,'' said the police.
